MANTEO — In Dare County Superior Court in Manteo, a Stumpy Point man recently pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the April 2024 fatal stabbing of a man by pirate sword.
Tanner Levi Russell Thrasher, 23, pleaded guilty before Judge R. Andrew Womble on Tuesday, Oct. 14, to the second-degree murder of Manns Harbor resident Timothy “Timmy” Joseph Bakersmith, 43 at his time of death.
