An Outer Banks man already listed on the state sex offender registry was arrested in the Charlotte area for multiple alleged sexual crimes against children.

A Colington man arrested on a charge of forcible sex offense last week is on the state sex offender list for a prior conviction of indecent liberties with a child.

Charles Everett Holland II pleaded guilty to one count of indecent liberties with a child and had seven other charges of sexual crimes against a child dismissed, court documents show. He registered as a sex offender last week, providing a Southern Shores address.
