Colington man arrested on charge of forcible sex offense last week is on state sex offender list for prior indecent liberties with child conviction

COLINGTON — A Dare County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested a 46-year-old Colington man on a charge of felony second-degree forcible sex offense on Monday, July 28.
Michael Keith Taylor, of the 1200 block of Harbour View Drive in Colington Harbour, at the time of his arrest was already on the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) sex offender registry for a 2015 conviction of felony indecent liberties with a 10-year-old.
