Manteo man arrested on second- and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor charges

MANTEO — A law enforcement investigation into the unlawful distribution via social media of photographs and videos of children engaged in or appearing to be engaged in sexual activity that began on Oct. 23 is still ongoing but led to the arrest of a Manteo man this month.

 

Anthony Dewayne Lambert, 32, of the 300 block of Sir Walter Raleigh Street in Manteo, was arrested Dec. 18 on charges of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor—in violation of North Carolina General Statute (N.C.G.S.) 14-190.17—and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, in violation of N.C.G.S. 14-190.17(A).
