MANTEO — Joshua Lee Lane, 34, is currently being held without bond at the Dare County Detention Center in Manteo on two felony charges of sexual activity by a substitute parent or custodian, according to a Tuesday afternoon press release from the Dare County Sheriff’s Office.

The two arrest warrants allege that the sexual offenses took place against a child under the age of 18 in Dare County for whom Lane had “assumed the position of a parent in the home.”
