3 pedestrians and motorcyclist hospitalized with serious injuries after collisions around Thanksgiving on OBX

NAGS HEAD — Three pedestrians and a motorcyclist were hospitalized with serious injuries after two incidents where motor vehicles struck pedestrians on the Outer Banks in the evenings before and after Thanksgiving.

 

A motorcyclist struck a pedestrian in a Kitty Hawk intersection on Wednesday, Nov. 27, and a motor vehicle struck two pedestrians in a Nags Head crosswalk on Friday, Nov. 29. All four hospitalized people are expected to survive, according to local spokespersons.
