A convicted sex offender who is currently incarcerated on charges of felony second-degree forcible sex offense and misdemeanor sexual battery never lived at the address he provided to authorities when he was arrested last July, according to the Colington homeowner at said address.

The webpage of all elected officials in Dare County lists an address for a county commissioner that is outside of the district in which he’s required to live to represent, but he said his “primary” address is within the district.
