Two men who said they were employed as maintenance workers for Dare County Schools until their recent dismissals because of the Manteo Elementary School trespass incident shared what they saw as concerning systemic issues.

A Moyock woman was arrested Friday on three misdemeanor charges: Trespassing/impeding a school bus, communicating threats and disorderly conduct. The arrest warrant for Samantha Spoor, 35, did not mention her alleged racial slur.
