A guilty plea and sentencing took place Thursday morning at the Dare County Justice Center in Manteo related to the fiery December bridge crash that claimed the life of a 2-year-old.

A 42-year-old from Chesapeake, Virginia, died Tuesday morning after crashing into a house in Currituck County, according to law enforcement.
