For our seventh episode of “Down the Road,” we meet Braxton Hughes, a former standout quarterback at First Flight High School in Kill Devil Hills who went on to play at the collegiate level and who will soon begin his second season playing American football professionally in Brazil. We also discuss how his love of language has helped direct him along the way and his foray into film. Hughes has appeared as a background actor in shows like “Outer Banks” and “Cobra Kai.”
