Dare County Schools has filled four administrator positions following formal notice of one principal’s late August retirement and three assistant principals’ resignations effective this month.

The Manteo Elementary School principal, who is a former district principal of the year, will exchange leadership roles with one of First Flight High School’s assistant principals. The transfers are effective next Monday, Oct. 6, according to the district superintendent.
